Wishes for the Summer

Dear friends of our
Shanti family,

The first thing I want to do in our Summer Circular is to thank you with all my heart for your reliable support - Shanti is already in its 16th year!   

The New Centre

I also wish to invite you to be as happy as we are: our new centre will be finished this year. If everything is going according to plan the period of frustrating and expensive rentals will be over finally.   

Mr Hape Kerkeling, who is the one who gave us the land for the new centre, is happy to hear that we will call our clinic the Hape Kerkeling Clinic!

And the new workshops will have the name Tremonia Workshops: Tremonia – the name of Dortmund in medieval times. We try to express our gratitude for all the support the City of Dortmund has given us.   

We are going to inaugurate the centre with a big festival in Nepal on 6 March 2009.
For the occasion of this feast, Gabriela Müller, who has been visiting us for years with all of her Nepal travel groups, will work out a travel itinerary, and we would be happy if you could be motivated by this leaflet to travel to us.
Should you however prefer to organize your own travel: a flight will cost you ca. 1,000 euros at the time being (!).
Some of you will surely know Shanti from having seen it with their own eyes and will look forward to the modifications done. But whoever does not know Shanti yet, will have the exhilarating chance of meeting the loving Shanti people.
